The film is a documentary story of the life and work of one of the most outstanding contemporary architects and a design icon – Alvar Alto. As he would say himself, genius is never made single-handedly. The film presents the story of the love between Aalto and his wife as well as his muse and another architect architect – Aino. We will get to know the secrets of their joint work and its impact all over the world. The voices of experts as well as unique archive materials will let us see a multi-dimensional portrait of these artists with a passion for architecture in the film. You will see all of this in a special edition of a year-round cycle Miastoprojekcje, which presents portraits of cities, film apologies and urban epitaphs.
