DKF “Centrum” Lecture before the screening of "The Most Beautiful Boy in the World"

This special screening at the DKF Centrum will be devoted to the classic Luchino Visconti movie “Death in Venice”. We will take a different perspective though, and concentrate on the story of Bjorn Andresen, the 15 year old actor playing Tadzio, whom Visconti called at the time “the most beautiful boy in the world”. This defined Andresen for the rest of his life. How did he cope with it? Was it a blessing or a course? The latest Sundance sensation depicts the rules and abuses of power in showbusiness, now widely discussed thanks to the #MeToo movement.
