Free art vs Lukashenko - meeting with the authors of "Courage"

English with a Polish interpreter

How do you live in a country where one person has been in power for 27 years? What’s the current state of the fight for fundamental democratic rights? Belarussian director Aliaksei Paluyan is capable of forging personal experiences into a universal message; his short "Country of Women" won a prize for “adherence to moral ideals in cinema art” at the Minsk IFF Listapad. His feature-length debut, "Courage", follows three actors who join the protests against the Lukashenko regime. The director and camerawoman will discuss their experiences with filming from within a civic gathering.
