Director of more than 40 documentaries made for Polish Television, BBC, ARTE, Canal+, WDR and many more. His most well-known films are ‘North Korea: The Parade’, ‘The Russian Striptease’, ‘The Reed Dance’, ‘Yodok Stories’. He has served as the Chief of the Documentary Department at the Polish Television. For his auditions especially ‘Time For Documentary’, ‘Keep Your Eyes Wide Open’, ‘Watch with Andrzej Fidyk’ he has got three Wiktor Awards in the TV category. He has been awarded at many film festivals around the world. Profesor of film art. A member of the European Film Academy.
