Freedom Award Gala
The City of Poznań Freedom Award will be bestowed for the first time at this year’s Poznań edition of Millennium Docs Against Gravity. The three-person jury, composed of Justyna Kopińska, Ewa Zgrabczyńska, and Antoli Komasa-Łazarkiewicz, will select the winning film: one that doggedly defends the foundation of freedom, fighting for dignity and human rights in its documentary message. The author of the winning film will receive a €3000 prize. The announcement and award ceremony will take place on Friday, September 10, 2021.
The winning film will be screened at the official closing ceremony of the festival on September 12 at 21:00.
