The program of this year's festival includes numerous examples of stories in which we can observe the emerging activism of young people around the world. Although the reasons can be very different: the ecological crisis, growing economic inequality, persecution of minorities, violation of human rights, observation of emerging totalitarianisms and dictatorships, they all have the same denominator - the growing sense of social injustice. Young people more and more often turn their feeling of powerlessness into action and attempt to influence the reality in which they live.

In Poland, too, there are a lot of reasons encouraging new generations to find activism within themselves - the ubiquitous hate speech, campaigning against LGBT + people, huge protests against the violation of civil rights and tightening of the abortion law, as well as ignoring the growing climate threats in our country. We have invited to the joint debate people for whom the above-mentioned reasons have recently become a hotspot for further actions and taking a firm stand. The discussion, led by activist and journalist Maja Staśko, will be attended by: Paula Olejniczak from the Campaign Against Homophobia (the co-producer of the film 7TH OF AUGUST), feminist activist Zuzanna Kozak, and Wiktoria Jędroszkowiak from the Youth Climate Strike. During the debate with the audience, we will try to analyze the power that young people present and the values in which they believe.
