Came to this world suffering from a kind of Weltschmerz that apparently could only be cured with filmmaking. At age 11, he completed his first time-lapse using an old digital camera and a number of everyday objects. In the years to come, he would experiment with various short forms, making constant progress as a self-taught artist. At present, he still tackles diverse genres, never allowing himself to stay inside his comfort zone. He has had the pleasure of working with artists such as Tomasz Kot, Kasia Lins, Czesław Mozil, Leski, Aleksandra Domańska, and Maciej Orłoś. His filmmaking is a constant search for balance between intellectual and emotional qualities, always at the expense of work-life balance. Bierut’s motto is: “Suffering is temporary, films are timeless”.
