25-year-old Aleksandra Rola is a MMA champion who defeated all her opponents in Poland in the course of one year, even though she was relatively new to this sport. Today she is training to compete in the world championship in Las Vegas. We discover her inner strength and ambition to fulfill her dreams. Aleksandra lives in a small town and comes from a family tormented by problems with alcohol. Will sport help her find some stability in life?
After the screening, we will discuss the film with Aleksandra Rola, its protagonist, as well as Krzysztof Kasior, the director.

Host:

Dorota Reksińska – cultural and film scholar, the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań graduate. Since June 2017, she has cooperated with Estrada Poznańska cultural center and Kino Muza cinema in Poznań. The main area of her duties is events production and composing cinema's monthly film schedule, as well as the coordination of PR activities and conducting film education classes. Also works as a film editor. She has been volunteering in an animal shelter near Poznań since 2019.
