The City of Poznań Freedom Award Competition juror.

A journalist and sociologist. She deals with criminal issues related to criminal law, courts and prisons. She gained her work experience in the US and East Africa. She is a winner of the Amnesty International Journalist Award – the Pen of Hope. She got The Ryszard Kapuscinski Polish Press Agency Award, Grand Press Award, The Teresa Toranska Newsweek Award and the Andrzej Woyciechowski ZET Radio special mention. An author of many books ‘Will God forgive Bernadeta?’ ‘With Hatred of Women’, ‘Madness’, ‘Medicine for The Soul’, ‘Poland Turns Their Eyes’. Double winner of Mediator Award. She was the first Polish journalist to get the European Press Prize in the ‘Distinguished Writing Award’ category.
