OKI DOKI DOCUMENTARY ACADEMY. Workshops for children following the screening of "Angry" and "Yaren and the Sun", from the block entitled “Difficult emotions: anger and sadness”
Workshops in Polish for children aged 9 and up, as well as their adult companions .

Our own emotions are sometimes too hard to handle. Our viewers will look at how the characters in the film deal with their feelings, what makes them angry, what drives them mad, and what is soothing. The accompanying workshops will focus on the practical ways of calming down and dealing with sadness. We will be playing card games to name feelings and solving riddles.
Documentary screenings for the youngest viewers are their window to the word – they cause awe, are sometimes moving and disturbing. The OKI DOKI Documentary Academy offers ways of dealing with such reactions and making the film a lesson of empathy, tolerance and wider knowledge.
