Amnesty International Poland Award
Films in the Amnesty International Poland competition have one theme in common – human rights. They present psychological, social and political mechanisms that affect our lives, shape our ways of thinking and feeling, and also impact our rights and our freedoms. These are films dealing with experiences of oppression, violence, manipulation and abuse of power, but also images of strength, solidarity, activism and hope.
A 3000 euros award in the Amnesty International Poland competition expresses gratitude to those, who through their filmmaking efforts present what human rights are and what they actually mean.
