Karol Palka (1991) is a photographer and film director. Graduated from the Krzysztof Kieslowski Film Department in Katowice University and DOK PRO film programme at Wajda School. Currently has been pursuing doctoral studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. His works has been awarded at Lensculture, Hasselblad Master Awards, New East Photo Prize and many others. His debut documentary short film „Years Have Gone, Winter Is Coming" (2016) was screening at several international festivals. One of the author Book „RED UTOPIAS – The reconciliation of spaces” (2019) (collection of three books that bring together the photographs and texts of 10 European authors and photographers.)
