Best Cinematography Award Competition juror.
Born 1972 in Bydgoszcz, Maciej Cuske has been creating independent 8 mm and 16 mm films since high school years. In 2004, he graduated from Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing and has since been making mostly documentaries. Cuske is fascinated by everyday life, in which he seeks out the extraordinariness, humor and warmth. He studies other people in the world around him, regardless of whether it is outside his own window or somewhere more remote, and finds cinematic moments in their lives. Since 2009, Cuske has served as Polish Film Institute expert.
