Zuzana Krišková is human rights activist and current leader of Slovak NGO Ženské kruhy (Women's circles)
In her work for Ženské kruhy she is focused on disrespect and abuse in childbirth and the high level of normalization of these practices in Slovakia. She believes that every doctor, every midwife or nurse are capable of providing respectful maternity care. Zuzana is coauthor of publications about systemic aspects of violations of women’s human rights in birth care provided in healthcare facilities in Slovakia (Women-Mothers-Bodies I and II).
