Born 1972, Copenhagen, Denmark. Experienced journalist, editor, non fiction author and film director. Three times Sundance Film Festival nominee and winner of The Grand Jury Award at Sundance 2010 with feature length documentary “The Red Chapel”. Two times selected for New Directors New Films at MOMA in New York. Selected for opening film of IDFA in Amsterdam 2012 with “The Ambassador”. Winner at Tribeca in New York 2018 with the feature fiction movie “The St Bernard Syndicate” (best script and best actor). Winner of Best Director at Sundance 2019 for the documentary “Cold Case Hammarskjöld”, which was picked up for US distribution by Magnolia Pictures. Writer and director of the real life documentary spy thriller “The Mole”, which premiered on BBC4 in October 2020, and won the Danish Film Academy award Robert, for best documentary of the year.
